Harpenden Youth Town Council

Objectives for 2008/2009

At the Youth Town Council’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September 2008, the following objectives were agreed:

	September 2008 - Election of Officers: to elect officers for the year 2008/09
	October 2008 - To take part in Local Democracy Week
	November 2008 - To continue to persue a Personal safety project
	November 2008 - To take part in the Harpenden Christmas Carnival 2008
	November/ December 2008 - Editing of the Harpenden Youth Town Council's Promotional DVD
	January 2009 - Fitness Project (subject to questionnaire analysis): to continue to research and introduce free fitness sessions for youths at the Harpenden Sports Centre.
	January/ February 2009 - Launch of the Harpenden Youth Town Council's Promotional DVD
	April 2009 - Station Road Pedestrian Tunnel Project: continue to persue the renovation of the pedestrian tunnel on Station Road. The Youth Town Council will continue to look for ways to improve the tunnel for all users.
	May 2009 - To take part in the Harpenden Carnival 2009
	July 2009 - Summer Sounds 2009: to continue to promote young peoples' music in the district with the fourth Summer Sounds event, which this year is taking place in Clarence Park in St. Albans
